in Hong Kong and hosted by the UK Government’s Department for
International Trade, Douglas White provided both training workshops and
ongoing consultancy for the social media strategy and execution of this
event.
In
his training workshops, Douglas White shared tools on how to increase
the social media engagement rate of your posts on various social media
platforms like Facebook, Linkedin, Twitter and more. Other topics

people who take great pride in their work. It is a great place to do
business and an ideal location for anyone looking to set up a new
company. For example the recent launch of Cognatio Law,
by NewLaw industry veteran Lesley Hobbs, came about to satisfy growing
demand within Hong Kong’s business community for flexible and cost
effective legal consultancy services.
Hong
Kong business culture is relatively straightforward, but below we will
walk you through some tips and discuss how to navigate everyday working
life in this island city:
Join us May 12th for a special celebration
May 17th, The International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia and Biphobia, aka IDAHOT, is an important day for Gay Games 11 Hong Kong 2022 and the whole LGBT+ community! Be sure to attend the IDAHOT Love not Hate at Chater Garden event on
Saturday, May 12 at 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM GMT+08. All attendees will be
able to enjoy speakers from the EOC Chairman, Trans and Intersex
activists.
IDAHOT
was first established in 2004 to bring awareness to the violence and
discrimination experienced by LGBT+ people internationally every day.
May 17 was chosen to commemorate when the WHO removed Homosexuality from
its global index of mental disorders– May 17, 1990. Since then, May
17th has become one of the most important dates for LGBT+ communities
and is now celebrated in over 130 countries.
