Total Summer Wellness with A Day with Fé

 
 
Summer is nearly here  and with sunny days comes a thirst for adventure: travel, camping, and outdoor activities like swimming, boating and yoga! Here are a few tips for keeping your energy level high, your mood calm, and your body healthy.

  • Hydrate: Thirst and dehydration can really take a toll on your body AND mind, making you feel weak and irritable. Be sure to carry a water bottle with chilled water to keep you refreshed and healthy.
  • Alone-time: Family is wonderful, and friends are amazing but sometimes you just need some time for yourself to recharge. Go for a walk, a yoga session on the beach or just enjoy a good book in a hot bath! (add a glass of wine- we won’t tell!) A little relaxation and self-care will allow you to return to life with a calmer, fresher approach.

  • Remember the sunscreen: Even on cloudy days, protect your skin with sunscreen, preferably a natural, non-toxic sunscreen with at least an SPF of 30
  • Multivitamins: A multivitamin is a nutrition supplement that provides a variety of vitamins and/or minerals. It’s good to take a reputable vitamin every day but can be especially important during busy times in life when you may not be eating your best. Strive to get in those healthy, whole foods either way!
