These are packed into slimfresh package, which is a high performance laminated board package that consists of a recyclable, moisture resistant laminated paperboard backing combined with vacuum skin technology. The package is both easy open and leak-proof.
A unique feature of Scan’s premium pork, is that their pigs are flower-fed. Meaning they add Brassica napus seed(bright yellow flowers commonly seen in Nordic countries, that produces oil-rich seeds- this is one of nature’s best sources of Omega 3!) to the feed of their pigs. This ensures that Scan’s flower-fed pork contains 4 times more Omega 3’s when compared to conventional pork. And it can be cooked any way you like- since it’s loaded with high-quality fat, the meat is quick to prepare. Since it stays juicy and tender longer, cooking time is less critical as well.
