hubs across Asia. We are happy to welcome Ceci Lam, founder and owner of Pilates House Macau. Thank you for joining us in this interview:
Q：When was your studio opened?
你的工作室是什麽時候創建的？
A：Pilates House Macau opened on Oct 2017
澳門普拉提之家創建於2017年10月。
Q：What are the reasons your started your own studio?
是什麽原因讓你想要創建屬於自己的普拉提工作室呢？
A：Pilates
offers very effective and safe exercises, and when we opened our doors
there were no Pilates Studio in Macau. I dreamed of bringing Pilates to
Macau because it’s where I grew up and I wanted to help my local
community.
普拉提是一項高效而且安全的運動。但是在那個時候，澳門卻沒有任何一家專業的普拉提工作室，所以我很希望我能把普拉提這項運動帶回澳門——這個我成長的地方，讓澳門人認識普拉提並得益於此。
Q：What services do you offer in your studio?
你的工作室提供什麽課程服務呢？
A：We offer small group classes, Reformer and Mat, as well as one on one studio sessions. We are a fully equipped Pilates Studio
我們工作室提供團體課程與一對一私教課程。團體課程又分核心床與墊上普拉提。工作室配有所有普拉提器材。
Q：How do you feel about the Pilates market in Macau? Is it growing?
你感覺普拉提在澳門的市場前景怎麽樣？還有成長的空間嗎？
A：It’s
booming and there’s still space to grow. When I opened my studio no one
in Macau knew what Pilates was, then after several months after we
opened everyone in Macau is talking about Pilates, and many people are
looking for Pilates classes. Now the only challenge is that there are
not enough certificated Pilates Instructors in town. The demand is more
than supply!
普拉提這項運動目前正在澳門高速發展，但在普拉提這條路上澳門其實還有很大的發展空間。當初，在我的工作室創建初期，澳門人基本上都不知道普拉提究竟是什麽。我的工作室運營幾個月之後，大家才慢慢開始討論普拉提，尋求普拉提運動的人才逐漸變多。所以普拉提對於澳門來説，還有大的發展前景，唯一的挑戰是專業普拉提教練在澳門實在是太少了，不能滿足市場的需求。
Q: How long have you been a Polestar host?
Since 2018
A:你是什麽時候開始成爲北極星普拉提培訓代理？
從2018年開始。
Q: Why did you choose to work with Polestar?
你爲什麽選擇與北極星普拉提合作？
A: I graduated from Polestar, thus I am familiar with the system. I trust this system to train good instructors.
我是從北極星普拉提畢業的，我熟悉這個教育培訓系統同時也相信這個系統能培訓出優秀的普拉提教練。
Q: It must be fun to train future Pilates instructors. What makes it so special for you?
培訓未來的普拉提教練肯定很有趣，是什麽吸引你堅持下去？
A:
As I said how much I love this exercise-- I wish everyone could have
the ability to do Pilates properly with a highly trained Polestar
Pilates Instructor.
因爲我自身很喜歡普拉提這項運動，我希望每一個人都能在專業普拉提導師的指引下正確運動。
Q: Do you have any special message or advice for those that want to become a Pilates Instructor?
對於未來想成爲普拉提導師的同學，請問你有什麽建議想對他們説？
A:
Be patient, becoming a good Pilates instructor is a long journey. Be
prepared to invest a lot of time to study and practice-- because the
more you invest the better you become. Doing what you love as a job is
priceless, I am so happy everyday to teach and I don’t feel like I am
working at all!
一定要有耐心，成爲一名優秀、專業的普拉提導師是一場修行，你需要付出大量的時間來學習與實踐，你付出的時間越多纍計的經驗越多，你的能力就會變得越好。我覺得自己是幸運的，因爲我能把自己喜歡的事情轉換成爲職業，每一天當我教授我的會員運動時，我并不感覺自己是在工作。
Q: Do you have any special events/courses/promotions upcoming that you want to share with people?
請問你的工作室最近會有任何活動/培訓課程/推廣活動推薦給大家嗎？
A:
Pilates House Macau will host Polestar Studio/Rehab course in this
coming September 2019. It’s the ever first Polestar Studio/Rehab course
in Macau.
澳門普拉提之家在即將到來的2019年9月將會開辦北極星普拉提場館大器械綜合資格培訓課程，這是澳門第一次舉辦關於場館大器械的課程。
