#GGHK2022 Info Night with the Federation of Gay Games

We kicked off Gay Games 11 Hong Kong 2022 Info Night "Milestone 2019" with a great turnout! Huge thanks to all our supporters for attending, and to our wonderful supporting volunteers for their time and effort to prepare this special night, kicking off a four day workshop with the Federation of Gay Games in Hong Kong. The theme of this event was “Sports as Empowerment”, where we welcomed amazing guests including members of the Federation Gay Games, 2018 Paris Gay Games participants from Hong Kong, as well as several athletes from Hong Kong, including Edie Hu, Mikyung Kim, Alessandro Calanca (Alex Cal) and Dan Parr from CSM, who all shared their inspiring stories with us. Thank you!

We also appreciate all of our amazing sponsors and their support!
Including: WeWork for providing a beautiful workspace and venue at the Lan Kwai Fong Tower, Nosh Hong Kong for the delicious and nutritious food, Pyjama for the celebratory bottles of vino. Thank you all so much!

There are so many good things happening, and exciting times ahead! The 2022 Gay Games 11 in Hong Kong will be held in a little more than 3 years. This may sound like a long time, but it will be here before you know it! Time moves very quickly when you are having fun and when we are planning such a huge, detailed event!

The Gay Games first began in 1982. This is a world class multi sport and cultural festival that happens every four years, hosted by different cities and, now, countries. The next event is in 2022 in Hong Kong, which will be the very first time Asia has hosted the Gay Games. The last Gay Games were hosted in Paris in 2018.
