How is social media perceived by viewers today

Social media has ever-changing demographics. Its usage fluctuates depending on user age groups, occupations and global trends. As the audience has grown, so has the amount of content. With infinite options of channeling content, users focus on minute measures such as sharing and privacy laws. iAcquire explores these trend among social media users.

Basic questions and related statistics mirror the mindset of the new age users of social media.
Facebook, the reigning social media giant, is surprisingly not the preferred network of certain age groups. 65% of Facebook users belong to the 30+ age group, while the 18-29 age group dominates 60% of Reddit and 85% of orkut! Results show that indeed privacy is a major concern and that 75% users disagree with sharing private search data while 70% of users don’t use Facebook for searching at all! Facebook has undeniably made sharing handy, yet 75% of users in the 45+ age group use email for sharing.
Other surprising result is the fact that only 12% of users are influenced by Likes and Shares, while 50% of users don’t consider images important in search results. This can serve as a setback for brands, whose sole purpose of promotional offers is to get more likes for their page! These sharp results could be influenced by the time spent on social media. While the time spent on Pinterest has increased a whopping 1000% in the past year, time spent on Facebook has increased only 4% while that on Google+ by 80%.
These statistics show that content on social media needs constant upgrading and attractions to attract users. Not only the quantity, but also the quality needs to include more areas of interest; encompassing humour, entertainment, sports, lifestyle and hobbies. JamiQ allows brands belonging to every aspect of life, be it celebrity news or fashion trends, the chance to make an impact among the masses of social media. Fruits You May Not Know But You May Want To Try

There are several fruits unbeknownst to many. This is not because they’re not delicious or healthy. In fact, a lot of them are. Perhaps it’s because they haven’t really been used in “mainstream” dishes. In this article, Edible Arrangements Hong Kong introduces you to two of these fruits you may not know but may want to try soon.

The first one is the Cloudberry. A fruit from the coldest region of the world, cloudberries can also be considered herbs. These usually have 1 to 3 leaves and their flowers are unisexual. Sometimes reddish tipped, cloudberries are usually salmon pink, pale yellow and red, depending on the stages of maturity. What’s great about these uncommon fruits is that they are great sources of vitamin C. Cloudberries are also great to be turned into jams and liquers.

Another fancy fruit that not everyone may know is the Ackee. Quite interestingly, while it is considered a fruit, an ackee is cooked and used as a vegetable. In fact, Jamaicans consider it as part of their national dish. They usually pair it with salt fish. Ackees are considered ripe when the pods become bright red and split open to expose the fruit. When cooked, ackees become pretty delicate and crushes easily. This is why you need to add them to the pot last when you intend to use them for cooking.

So there you go. Two interesting, not-so-popular fruits that actually serve great purposes. Which of these two do you want to try? For more fruits you may not know, Edible Arrangements fixed this Pinterest page for you.

Of course, to satisfy your cravings for fruits, why not visit the nearest Edible Arrangements Hong Kong store now? They have edible bouquets made of the freshest fruits!

How To Keep And Store Your Wedding Gowns

As a bride-to-be, not only should you think about where to buy your wedding gown but how to store it after your big day as well. You must know what steps to take in order to keep them properly - in case you want to pass it on to the next generation or perhaps donate it.
Here are friendly, doable tips for brides especially those who already bought (or are planning to buy) their wedding dresses from HITCHED! Bridal, Hong Kong’s most recommended one-stop bridal boutique.

First off, you must clean your wedding gown right after the wedding. Best if you’ll have it professionally dry cleaned. Contact a reliable dry cleaner in your area and make sure that they have the necessary equipment to properly clean your wedding gown. Just in case your wedding gown has small stains, ask the cleaner if they are capable of removing them.
When you retrieve your wedding gown, place it in a clean cardboard box. Place acid-free, white tissue paper inside the box. Do not use colored tissue paper as the color may fade and stain your gown.
As you can see, these are very easy steps to follow in order to ensure the cleanliness and maintain the look and quality of your wedding dress.
Just in case you still need more tips, don’t hesitate to contact HITCHED! Bridal Hong Kong. They have professional in-house wedding consultants who will be more than glad to help you out.

HITCHED! Bridal is located at Room 1501-2, 68-74 Bonham Strand East, Sheung Wan, Hong Kong. Call +852 2815 8330 for appointments.
