15th is Program A, featuring Richard Pontzious, conductor, along with
awards winning violinist soloist Moné Hattori. The program includes:
- Rimsky-Korsakov: Capriccio Espagnol
- Bruch: Violin Concerto No. 1 in g minor
- Rimsky-Korsakov: Scheherazade
August
16th is Program B, featuring Joseph Bastian, conductor, along with Hong
Kong pianist Rachel Cheung. The program includes:
- R. Strauss: Till Eulenspiegel's Merry Pranks
- Ravel: Piano Concerto in G
- Brahms: Symphony No. 4
This
years Summer Festival will be held in Hong Kong from 20 July to 8
August 2019. Then the Asian Performance Tour will begin from 9 August to
1 September 2019 with performances in Beijing, Shanghai, Tianjin,
Nanjing, Hong Kong, Taipei, Chiayi City, Seoul, Fukuoka, Kumamoto and
