It’s a lot of fun to go on a holiday. Exploring new cultures, attractions, and experiences can be thrilling. They can provide you with memories that will last forever. Holidays are all about enjoying quality time, savouring great food and soaking up the rays. From bringing delicious snacks like Chewswize, to traveling or sightseeing by foot, here are our top 5 tips to help you make better choices that leave you feeling good.
  1. Walk, when possible: Cheap and healthy – these are two of the best things about walking.
  2. Keep Hydrated: This is especially important during the summer season.
  3. Get Enough Sleep:  Getting enough sleep helps raise energy levels and will lessen the likelihood that you will be sick during your holiday.

History Behind The Gay Games
From youth to adulthood, games and sports are an essential part of everyone’s life. Sporting events are a necessity to keep people healthy and fit. You must’ve heard about the ancient Colosseum in Rome, famous for its rich history in sporting and outdoor gaming events? The history of Gay Games dates back to 1980, when it was introduced by Dr. Tom Waddell to bring an innovation to the status of unappreciated communities. This means, for over a quarter century, the Gay Games have built an international legacy of changing cultural, social and political attitudes towards LGBT people across the globe, while at the same time empowering tens of thousands with the transforming benefits of sports competition. Hong Kong is bidding to host this event in 2022.

Nordic Pork Takes Hong Kong by Storm

With melt-in-your-mouth tenderness, Flodins’ Omega-3 pork has captivated Hong Kong patrons! Pork has been Asia’s favourite meat for centuries, so what is it about this juicy, succulent Nordic pork that has locals taking notice? We’ve discovered that due to the rapeseed oil seed Flodins adds to their pigs feed, the essential Omega-3 fatty acids are boosted up to 4 times more compared to conventionally raised meat. This creates a very high-quality fat, that is distributed throughout the meat, which makes it extremely tender and tasty. It’s easier to cook with it too, so it’s no surprise that many top Chefs have chosen Flodins Omega-3 pork for their menus.

As the first and finest Nordic restaurant in Hong Kong, it was only natural that F.I.N.D.S. (Finland, Iceland, Norway, Denmark, Sweden) executive Chef Jaako Sorsa prepared tasty Nordic cuisine with an Asian twist at Flodins’ launch party. Nordic countries have a food culture closely linked with nature – their cuisine is all about keeping food pure, seasonal, local and fresh. Stop by FINDS for lunch today and savour slow-roasted Omega-3 pork with Root Vegetable Ragout and Bay Leaf Broth. Yum!

Why Your Marketing Department Should NOT
Manage Your Digital Media

I have recently read an article by Andrew Hutchinson in Social Media Today speculating on why Facebook may be removing the Likes count from business pages. I was not surprised that Facebook might be doing this and I will explain shortly, but I am again disappointed on how misdirected social media “experts” are in understanding their own industry.

It is my supposition in this blog that digital marketing should be taken out of the marketing department and moved into Sales, CRM and Product Development. Basically it comes down to this:

  • Marketing is grounded in traditional approaches of “Big Idea” and “Paid Media”. Traditional marketing, PR and advertising is inherently anti-social. As a result their influence on social media apps e.g. Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc. are making the apps less “social” and more “advertising” driven.
  • Sales, customer relations/service and product development are inherently social. They are dependant on interaction and engagement with customers to make a business thrive. If it was their influence on the evolution of social media apps we would see less advertising and more personal interaction or “social”.

Much success,
