Whip Up A Tasty Summer Recipe Using Three Butchers HK Sausages And Baked Pumpkin




For a lot of people, the Summer season means the comfort of home and simple yet delicious homecooked meals. A lot of people relish those days when the family can gather around the kitchen and help prepare a tasty dish. This recipe only requires 7 ingredients but is definitely packed with aroma and flavor.

All you need are 1 kilo of butternut pumpkin, peeled and cut into 4cm pieces, 4 small red onions, 6 unpeeled garlic cloves, 2 tablespoons rice bran oil, 2 tablespoons small fresh basil leaves, a half cup of shaved parmesan cheese and 8 pieces of thick cumberland sausages you can get from Three Butchers Hong Kong.

Preheat the oven to 180°C. Prepare a large baking dish by lightly greasing it. Place the pumpkin pieces, onion and garlic. Drizzle with oil. Toss the ingredients so all of the pumpkin pieces get coated with the flavor. Bake for half an hour or until you see that the vegetables have softened. Set aside. Heat a non-stick frying pan over medium heat. Cook the cumberland sausages for about 5 minutes or until they’re golden brown. Add the sausages to the tray with pumpkins. Bake for another 20 minutes. Serve topped with basil and parmesan cheese.
